Two Weeks to Go!!!
Months have gone by and I haven't blogged!! Oh my gosh, I know, it's horrible. This has to be the busiest we have ever been. Don't ever build a house!!! :) We are very excited to almost be done. End of April turned into end of July. Zoiks! Oh well. The girls are getting really excited. Every time we drive up to the house, Paige says, "Houuuuuse". Leah just wants her "fashion closet" done!! We painted both girls' rooms yellow so I'm excited to start decorating!

We have walls!
It's been a long time since I've posted!! Life is crazy right now with the house. The weather has finally warmed up so we think it's full steam ahead now. Yesterday, they started building the interior walls so we had to take the girls to the house to see their new bedrooms! It was so exciting. Leah officially selected her new room! It was a big moment. Here are some pics!

We Love Daddy, The Horsey!
Leah and Paige love to ride on Daddy! We usually spend our evenings after work, school and daycare just hanging out. The girls love complete attention from us for the few hours they see us after our busy days. I think Daddy enjoys these rides as much as the girls.
Paige was communicating amazingly well tonight or maybe I'm just learning how to understand her more and more. She pulled me into the living room tonight to play with her Little People's grocery store. She patted the floor where she wanted me to sit. I laid on my belly to play and after a minute or two, she laid on her belly too. She was imitating Mommy! Then we decided to watch a Baby Einstein video. When the bear who blows bubbles appeared she said, "Bu-ble!". It was so cute and clear as day! I was sitting in the chair watching right by her and when she wanted a drink she grabbed my hand and said, "Up!". I couldn't believe how she was telling me exactly what she wanted tonight. It's amazing what an 18 month old is capable of.
Leah was the "Special Person of the Day" in kindergarten today which means she gets to be the line leader whenever they leave the classroom for an activity. She was so excited to tell me that when I picked her up!

Cold Construction Site
Jim, Leah and I went out to the site of our house today. The basement walls are up and the floor for the main floor is on. We crawled inside the basement through a window. What an adventure! The weather isn't exactly cooperating but the house is moving along despite it. Our contractor and his guys continue to work. Leah thought it was fun running around in the basement and asked where her room is not realizing we were in the basement! Check out these pics!

The Launch of House of Leos!
Here it is!! House of Leos has officially been launched! After much encouragement from one of my best friends and mother of triplets, I decided to start blogging! I thought it was a great idea considering I'm horrible at keeping up with baby books and scrapbooks. I realized this might be my best chance at documenting my children's lives (and the craziness of trying to manage two careers, the construction of a house, and everything else that invades our time).
So, how about this House of Leos? Here begins our story...
My husband Jim and I have been married for nine years. We were high school sweethearts and dated for six years before we got married. He played basketball, I was a cheerleader. Oh sick, I know. Sounds like some cheesy teen movie. Anyway, 1997 was the year we made it official. Four years later, our first baby was a born, a sweet little baby girl named Leah. Four years after that, another little baby girl was born named Paige. And if you haven't figured out by now, all four of us were born in August!! It makes for an interesting and lively household. To sum it up...we all want to be in charge, we all want to be the center of attention and we all want to be right!! AAAHHH! Yes, somedays I want to pull my hair out but most days I'm so happy to have my wonderful, amazing family.
I hope you enjoy our life story...
